Dr Yip completed her medical degree from the University of New South Wales in 2004 and also holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Sydney. She was Dux of her school, Roseville College. She obtained a performance degree in pianoforte from the Australian Music Examinations Board in 1996. Her medical electives were spent in Edinburgh, Scotland and British Columbia, Canada.
She has been designing her own websites since she was a teenager in high school and had her first website up in the 1990’s. She is currently a regular beta tester for Elixir Graphics, a Florida-based web developer and graphic design company.
Since graduation, she has worked in both the public and private health care systems in NSW and Queensland. Joy was accepted into the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists for specialist training in 2008 and has worked previously in drug and alcohol rehabilitation and management of eating disorders. After becoming a mother to two happy and healthy children, she has gradually reduced her clinical workload.
Dr Yip started WebInjection in 2010 to facilitate communication between doctors and their patients, one website at a time. She sees herself as providing an integral role in establishing a positive doctor-patient relationship. She now works full time as a web designer, managing over a hundred clients nationwide.
Dr Gan graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2004 going on to practice in the field of sports medicine. He has previously been the chief medical officer for the AFL's GWS Giants and the NRL's Manly Sea Eagles. He has also been the tournament physician for the Sydney International tennis tournament since 2012. He currently practices as an assistant surgeon to many of Sydney's top orthopaedic and spinal surgeons.
He has helped build WebInjection into a successful web design business since its inception in 2010. A 25% annual growth rate over the last few years has seen WebInjection reach over a hundred clients in late 2016. Being a business that uniquely prides itself on understanding the specific needs of its healthcare clients, WebInjection has demonstrated this fact by its exceptional client retention rate of over 90% since inception.
Dr Gan also co-founded Moon Runners Australia which he currently manages. Moon Runners is a social enterprise business which promotes the delivery of efficient injury rehabilitation using the AlterG anti-gravity treadmill. Thomas is passionate about improving physical movement in the general population and understands the integral role that exercise plays in developing a healthy mind and body. All profits generated from Moon Runners Australia will be given to organisations that work with improving mental health.
Tim is a designer who creates with both digital and physical mediums. He studied a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney in 2004 and, in formalising his interests, also studied User Experience Design with General Assembly in 2014.
Tim has always been a passionate advocate for design, performing unsolicited logo work for the local hairdresser from a young age. More recently, he has been working with both small and large companies, non-profits and individuals on branding, identity and product strategy. His particular speciality and passion lies in Human Centered Design, which focuses on usability, accessibility, and creating delightful experiences that help people.
Tim comes from the corporate world of business analysis, product management and user experience design, which makes him a quick study, inquisitive and visually oriented.
